Outside
Under the barn is a well lit room, semi underground and cool. Here there is a table tennis table and sofa as well as a changing area/loo for use when at the pool.
Running along the east side of the house (accessed from the living room) is a long covered terrace with beautiful views over the hills and also across to the neighbouring farm. There are outside tables which when put together can seat up to 16, and wicker sofas and chairs.
The house is surrounded by gardens, with large flower beds full of colourful flowers.
On the south side of the house there is a large sunny terrace, leading down to a further comfortable seating area underneath a pergola. Here there is a large sofa and two easy chairs, both with cushions.
The pool
On the north side of the house is a lawn, leading to the swimming pool. There are beautiful views over the countryside from the pool.
The pool is large (15 metres x 5 metres).It is approximately 2.3 metres deep at the deep end and around 1.5 metres deep at the other end. There are tiled steps down into the pool at this end and so getting in and out of the pool is easy. Adults and children can dive into the pool from the deep end. The pool can be heated in May/June/September if necessary.
Around the pool are large terraces. There are eight sun loungers, a number of large bean bags, table and chairs and a large sun umbrella/awning in this area. There is an outdoor shower at the side of the pool. The views from the pool are lovely.
The pool is not fenced currently and so the house is not suitable for anyone with children who are not capable of independent swimming.
